* First & foremost, an equestrian experience; your child will have the opportunity to horseback ride each day and learn all they need to know in order to care for their horse and live the ranch life, all while enjoying the company of their horses for the week.

* There are more than 50 horses on our ranch for campers to admire and love.

* We have farm animals beyond horses, including cats, dogs, lamas, chickens and a donkey.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Do I need to make a reservation?

Yes, all equestrian activities require a reservation at least 24 hours in advance.

How do I make a reservation?

Reservations can be made by clicking here. If you have a special group activity in mind, don't hesitate to call us — we'd be happy to organize it with you at (819) 459-2769.

What time should I arrive at the Ranch?

Please arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled riding time. This allows us to check you in at the front desk without cutting into your riding time.

Is there parking available?

Yes, free on-site parking is available for all participants.

What if it rains?

We ride rain or shine, as long as there is no severe storm. Please dress appropriately for the weather on the day of your ride. If the Ranch cancels your ride due to extreme weather conditions, you will receive a rain-check to be used at a later date.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellations are non-refundable. However, reservations may be rescheduled once if the request is made at least 48 hours before the scheduled activity and is subject to availability. Requests made less than 48 hours in advance, as well as late arrivals and no-shows, are not eligible for a refund or rescheduling.

What are the weight and height limits for riders?

Maximum weight: 270 lbs (123 kg)

Maximum height: 6′8″ (2.05 m)

Do I need to wear a helmet?

Helmets are mandatory for all riders aged 17 and under. For adult riders, helmets are strongly recommended and available at the Ranch for all ages. You are also welcome to bring your own equestrian helmet.

What should I wear?

Closed-toe shoes are required (no sandals), and long pants are strongly recommended. Please note that a shirt must be worn at all times while on the Ranch property.

Can I bring my dog to the Ranch?

No. For the safety of our animals and guests, pets are not permitted on site. Please leave your pets safely at home. We have plenty of wonderful farm animals here for you to enjoy during your visit!

Can we access the Ranch during business hours without an activity?

Yes, as long as you have a scheduled activity that day. Many of our guests also bring a picnic lunch and enjoy it at one of our many picnic tables on the property.
